Toyota introduced on the Japanese market resting minivans Alphard and VellFire. Models having the same technical stuffing, but different design, received a new rear suspension, which, according to the representatives of the brand, made it possible to improve their comfort and handling.
Minivans are now equipped with a rear independent suspension on two transverse levers, whereas a torsion beam was used before. In addition, the noise and vibration insulation of models was improved, the rigidity of the body was increased, and the overall height is reduced by 10 millimeters – up to 1880 millimeters.
Also for minivan salons having configurations up to eight seats, a LED backlight with four brightness levels and 16 colors to choose from.
New items are offered with a 182-strong engine 2.5 and a variator with a seven "virtual" transmissions, as well as with the "six" 3.5 with a capacity of 280 horsepower and hybrid power installation. It includes a 152-strong motor, working on the Atkinson cycle, variator and two electrical units (one at one on the front and rear axle).
Options for transformation of the cabin: Chairs of the first and second rows in some versions are installed on uniform guides, which increases the range of adjustments.
An Executive Lounge option will appear in the model modifications list. It offers broader rear armchairs (+100 millimeters), headbands with electric drive, heating and visual ventilation, folding tables, decoration of interior elements with wood, multimedia system for rear passengers with 12.1-inch screen, JBL audio complex with 17 speakers and 12-channel amplifier.
Also expanded the list of options in which the "intellectual" parking sensor was entered with the function of automatic braking in the event of a risk of collision, a circular video recovery system, the prevention of frontal accidents, adaptive cruise control.
Models starts from 3.19 million yen ($ 26,985).
